This is an update to our May 2009 publication on “Forex Regulation in the U.S. & Canada”.

Without a national securities regulator , the regulation of the non-interbank foreign exchange (forex) market and dealers in Canada have long been a patchwork of rules, regulations and policies from a handful of provincial securities commissions.
